“She (Catherine) leaves her bike and runs off the stairs between two swastika flags under a romantic portrait of Hitler.

Catherine Deneuve, now sitting next to me, right in her wrinkled wedding dress. Her eyes sparkle with admiration.

Vadim, of course, is directing shots of his latest film inspired by the Marquis de Sade, Vice and Virtue. By bringing Justine and Juliette together on the same stage, they made them the opposite heroines of a plot for the many events in Hitler’s circles at the end of the war.

The sincere Justine is Catherine Deneuve, Vadim’s fiancee. It’s true that with her algae-colored eyes, her fine features and her thin neck, everything is soft and clear.

Did you always only dream of the curtain rising? (theater)
—No way! of course, I was very proud of my father and I especially remember being dazzled when I saw him arrive on the Sarah Bemhard stage where he played 'Kean' alongside Pierre Brasseur, but I never thought acting would be my job

Now, would you sacrifice everything for the cinema?
—Oh! no, I like to play, I feel happy on a set, but there is at least one thing that I find more important than the cinema
